Wow, I haven’t checked my deviant art in a while and I was overwhelmed by the comments that I received especially from the Justin’s Brain stills. I got in touch with Jamie Smart to interview him for a paper I was writing about comic books increasing literacy and vocabulary in youth during college, and got his permission to animate a Bear short. I was trying to teach myself Lightwave 3D at the time and looking back at it now it makes me sick, but I increased my skills and wanted to work on another one of his creations and he allowed me to work on a Justin’s Brain short. As of now I havethe characters and a teaser/trailer done, but have been forced to put it on the backburner while my freelance gigs are being done.

I plan on workin’ my ass off and finishing the animation by the end of January. Once that is complete I plan on working on a few other side projects I had to delays due to productions that I have been working on. Expect to see a I Luv Halloween piece, and an X-Turtles battle scene as well. Should be awesome.
